It begins with a good hearty breakfast at Cafe Medina, which had a different and enticing menu. We both opted for the tagine breakfast, which consisted of lamb sausage, poached eggs, chickpeas and hummous.

We decided to face the Grouse grind- a gruelling climb up 2,830 steps, 853m high. Suffice to say we had a workout. We were surrounded by mosquitoes, and Zenobia was a magnet to them, which meant each stop lasted a minute at best, but worth it!
After recovering, we headed for the Capilano bridge. It was fun, with many nature walks and of course a suspension bridge which just begged to be rocked!
