Due south

So today we head out of Vancouver and onto the coach to get to Seattle. It was relatively painless, made better by a happy enthusiastic coach driver. The only mishap occurred at border control, where Zenobia was interrogated about her opinion on private healthcare versus national health service by the border agent. It was touch and go whether he would let her in, but we made it!









We're staying at Bed and Breakfast Inn Seattle, run by a lovely Fijian lady. Very welcoming and friendly and relaxed. It's in a residential area, but the building is huge and it feels like a home away from home.

 Once refreshed we ventured out to discover what Seattle had to offer. It's offbeat, quirky and definitely grunge!!







We finished our walk at Toulouse Petite, recommended by a native Seattle (ite?). And it was not disappointing. Zenobia was less than impressed by the duck-blocking as we were eating by a fellow diner. It looked a little like this:
